The new Private Dining offering at The Shelbourne – make an impression with a luxurious and intimate setting, exclusivity and excellent service.
Designed to accommodate groups of 10 to 30 guests, the new Private Dining service at The Shelbourne is a uniquely luxurious way to make an impact, whether your guests are family and friends or clients and colleagues.
Private Dining for smaller groups has always been available at the hotel, in the glamorous surroundings of the private dining rooms in the Saddle Room restaurant, but now Private Dining is available in The Constitution Room, The George Moore Room, and The St. Stephen’s Suite, 3 of The Shelbourne’s most historic meeting rooms, each of which has its own unique character, style and story.
Appealing to anyone intending to make an impression when hosting an event, Private Dining at The Shelbourne is specially created to provide exclusivity and privacy, hosted by a maître d’, sommelier and dedicated service team, under the watchful eye of Oliver Heffernan, the Private Dining Manager.
Private Dining at The Shelbourne is designed to deliver a truly impressive private dining experience, where guests are welcomed to a pre-dinner canapé & drinks reception, tray served in one of the private reception rooms adjacent to each of the suites, and then called to dinner in their exquisite and historical setting, formally welcomed with a brief explanation of the significance of the room’s name.
Guests enjoy individual, personalised menus based on 2 AA Rosette restaurant quality dining, and the maître d’ will introduce the menu and explain each course, with every menu featuring an amuse-bouche, appetiser, main course, dessert and coffee with petits fours. After dinner beverages (ports, cognacs, liqueurs, coffees) are prepared and served table-side, gueridon style.
Every aspect of the Private Dining service at The Shelbourne has been specifically selected to create a luxurious and opulent ambiance, from the Royal Doulton china designed by Vera Wang, to the sterling silver and traditional hand-woven Irish linen, to the gorgeous floral displays created by the in-house florists, which can be themed to complement the event or the host’s preferred colour palette.
Private Dining at The Shelbourne is a lavish and special experience, a luxuriously superior and exclusive way to delight or impress guests, and another polished aspect of the excellent service offered by Dublin’s favourite 5 star hotel.
