This Pancake Tuesday Brooks Hotel wants you to Name Your Pancake! The chefs at Brooks will be personalising pancakes for a limited time on Pancake Tuesday! 
 
Twitter followers of Brooks Hotel (@BrooksHotelD2) will be invited to tweet a name they would like to see on a pancake between 9am-11am. Twenty lucky tweeters will have their selected name presented on a traditional pancake for their collection between 12pm and 1pm. Every time a name is selected, the dedicated chefs at Brooks will personalise a pancake and an image of the pancake will be tweeted to the follower. 
 
On the day Brooks will also be serving up three delicious pancake options for lunch diners. The influence of the award winning Jasmine Whiskey Bar at Brooks can be found in the whiskey pancake which incorporates a chocolate sauce infused with Teelings Irish Whiskey with a light crepe style pancake. This indulgent option is every chocolate lovers dream!
 
Head Chef Pat McLarnon’s innovative use of unusual ingredients is epitomised in the second pancake option; the seaweed pancake. The unlikely pairing of the seaweed was inspired by the ‘Extreme Greens’ book produced by Sally McKenna of the McKenna’s guide fame. Pat says that the use of the seaweed ‘…adds something really special and a slightly sweet note which you wouldn’t expect.’ This pancake is perfect for the foodies or for guests who want something different this Pancake Tuesday.  
 
For more traditional diners, Brooks is also offering the classic pancake option, featuring a lemon and sugar topping. Brooks was recently described by Laurence Makin of the Irish Times as ‘…one of the rare hotels that also have an excellent restaurant under their roof, and one of the few food secrets left in the city’* and this traditional pancake offer will undoubtedly be served with McLarnon’s flair for stylish and decadent food. 
 
Brooks Hotel will be serving pancakes from 2.30pm to 9pm on Tuesday the 4th of March.
