The staff & owners of Hayfield Manor hotel have been honoured with one of the most prestigious awards in the travel industry. The readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine, a collection of some of the most discerning travellers across the globe, voted for Hayfield Manor in the magazine’s famous Readers’ Choice Awards and the hotel was awarded 4th place in the Top 10 Hotels in Ireland category.
Hayfield Manor’s owner, Joe Scally, received the news with great pride, “This award is particularly welcome as it comes, not from a panel of industry judges, but from guests who have actually stayed with us and who voted for us because of the experience that they enjoyed while they were here. The Condé Nast Reader’s Choice Award is a very special award with the voting totally unsolicited and we are so grateful to our guests who proactively took the time to vote for Hayfield Manor.”
The team at Hayfield Manor have been welcoming guests to the hotel since 1996 when Hayfield Manor opened as Cork’s first 5 star hotel. Over the years the hotel has been honoured with a host of awards and the Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Award will now top the list of accolades that the staff of Hayfield Manor proudly hold.
