Speaking of the sponsorship Good Food Ireland, Managing Director, Margaret Jeffares says “I am proud to support such a worthy competition. Our food and our horses are at the root of our Irish culture and provide us with a major opportunity to position our island’s uniqueness and therefore play a huge role in Ireland’s economic recovery”.
The 3 year Old Potential Event Horse Class is a great shop window for young home-grown future International Event Horses, like the many Irish-bred horses that competed at this year’s Olympics. Judging the competition is International Event Rider, Mark Todd who also recently competed at the Olympics. The winner will receive prize money and a Good Food Ireland Gift Basket to celebrate the launch of the Good Food Ireland Online Food Shop www.goodfoodireland.ie in September.
