Executive Chef John O’Leary and Restaurant Manager Zsolt Zidek work side by side in creating an unforgettable dining experience for guests. The team at The Yew Tree pride themselves on showcasing the excellent produce from local farmers, fishermen and food producers. The strong connection between the hotel and their suppliers is a key to the success of this food offering. Menus are generally altered each season to reflect availability of produce.
Diners can expect a variety of meat, fish and game on the menu, with each dish seasoned to perfection and artfully constructed. Light bites include a seafood selection along with a country style terrine. Ring of Kerry venison and Kerry beef feature on the main course while you can also sample halibut and cod dishes. A wild game bird special is also provided each evening, giving diners a wide variety of choice. Each dish is accompanied by carefully selected components to enhance and compliment the flavours of the main ingredient. Sweet treats and an artisan cheese board for dessert round off the menu.
