Our Review of Wilde Irish Chocolates Doolin Chocolate Shop Clare

If you are visiting the Wild Atlantic Way, you can visit the outlet shop of Wilde Irish Chocolates in Doolin North Clare. The Doolin Chocolate shop is open practically all year round where all of the chocolate creations of the Wild Irish range can be found. This pretty little shop set in the seaside villge of Doolin is a haven for chocoholics and sweet tooths of any generation. Peruse the shelves which are brimming with offerings, or have a chat with the team here  about what it is that makes Wilde Irish chocolate so special. There's nothing quite as indulgent or satisfying as a good square of chocolate and that is certainly what you'll find here. Having relocated to Clare over a decade ago, Patricia and Con Farrell set about the task of making (and eating) all things chocolate! Patricia's  passion for the dark stuff has created an artisan business in a beautiful part of Ireland. Wilde's Irish Chocolates are made in a variety of shapes, sizes and fillings.

You can also visit Wilde Irish Chocolates at the small chocolate factory in Tuamgraney Co. Clare, where all the wonderfully choccy goodies are made. It’s on the shores of the stunningly beautiful Lough Derg in East Clare. Here you will see how  these divine chocolates are made at first hand,  and wonder how such a huge variety can be handmade in such a small space. Wilde Irish Chocolates have a dizzying array of different chocolate items,  from the 30 varieties of artisan hand decorated bars,  to 20 fudge flavours, and over 12 different chocolate slice varieties. In addition, you'll find white, dark and milk chocolate praline spread, hot chocolate spoons, chocolate lollies and much much more, all made here on the premises and in full view of customers. It’s definitely worth a spin out to visit and while you are there, Patricia and the team  will also make sure you have lots of chocolate to taste.

The yummy creations of Wilde Irish Chocolates are also available at the famous artisan food market in Limerick’s Milk Market, Fridays to Sundays, at the Killaloe Farmers market on Sundays or the University of Limerick’s Farmers Market on Tuesdays.
