Overview

Tommy & Jennifer Ryan are well recognised and respected for Ponaire premium coffees, carefully sourced, roasted and blended in their new Roastery, Production Facility, Cafe, and Barista School on Main St,  Newport, Co Tipperary.

As artisan producers, they are passionate about good, traceable, healthy food and strive to work closely to support other artisan producers throughout Ireland.  Pónaire (which means bean in Irish)  has access to more than 90 different green (un-roasted) coffee beans from over 20 countries around the world from where they import their own raw beans.

The beans for this aptly named range are selected for their quality and taste, from sources that support the local producer, their community and the environment in a sustainable manner. Beans are meticulously roasted, blended, and packaged at the purpose-built roastery on Main St,  Newport, Co Tipperary. The best place to taste the end result is right here on site with takeaway coffee and snack foods available also.

The complete Ponaire coffee range of ground and whole beans lines the shelves, alongside a nice collection of coffee making accessories, filter papers and whatnot. This is a good stop off to stock up on your favourite blend of coffee beans or ready ground  coffees  - the range includes Indian and European blends as well as a great Fairtrade blend perfect for daytime drinking.
