Our Review of The O’Neill’s Range

O'Neill's butcher's shop in Clonakilty is a traditional business built on quality. Michael O'Neill has upheld the values of his own father, in this shop he runs with his wife.  As well as serving an established base of regular customers with local meats processed in the families own abbatoir in Clonakilty, the O'Neill's are also producers in their own right.

Michael cures his own Corned Beef for weekly sales and  Spiced beef at Christmas. He also produces a range of designer sausages from pork, beef and lamb. All meats are sourced in the west Cork area - beef from nearby Inchydone, pork from Timoleague and lamb from Cork county. You really can’t get much closer to home than this for meat sourcing, preparation and care – as the O’Neill’s say ‘when we say local we really mean local. All our meat comes from a small radius around us where possible or the wider area of County Cork. Our regular customers take it for granted they are getting Cork reared meats when they come here.’
