This family run hotel has local food at its heart, with two restaurants and an organic garden on site. Mary and Dick Fitzgerald opened their 4 bedroom guesthouse in 1983. They worked hard over subsequent years to grow their fledging business into a hub of hospitality for guests looking for relaxed accommodation with a warm home away from home feel. Mary and Dick who has since sadly passed, instilled their passion for hospitality in their children, who have roles within running the family business. To this day, family remains at the heart of the day to day operations at the Woodlands House Hotel. Significant investment over the years has transformed Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel into an 89 bedroom hotel with extensive Wedding, Conference, Spa and Leisure facilities.
