Tara Walker of The East Coast Cookery School is delighted to announce a first Mushroom Hunt with Ireland’s premier mycologist, Bill O’Dea, taking place on Saturday, 10th October. This promises to be a fun and informative day! Tea and coffee with a treat willwelcome you on arrival. Bill will then give a talk on how to look for & identify edible mushrooms. Information sheets will be provided. Everybody will then head out to woodland nearby to find mushrooms so bring wellies and a raincoat! Back to the cookery school afterwards to identify mushrooms and cook them up for a delicious lunch with wine. Book soon as places are limited! 10am-4pm, €60 per person

Short walk (2 mins) to nearby woods to find mushrooms
