Overview

The Butler’s Pantry Shops are heaven to walk into. We love them all. Modern, bright design and layout, friendly, knowledgeable staff, and most of all, fresh home made foods delivered twice daily to each of the ten shops in the Dublin and Wickow areas.
As the team here are proud to say ‘The Butler’s Pantry is all about getting people together around a table to share good food. We cook the way you would at home, with a generous spirit and using only the very best of fresh, natural ingredients. We make all our food by hand and from scratch in our own kitchen. We rely on the finest ingredients, and we don’t use additives and preservatives, so our food has a shelf life of just a few days. Our menus are short and change with the seasons’ .

Butler’s Pantry shops are set in the heart of proper communites, manned by staff who are enthusiastic and knowledgeable on all things foodie. These shops are shining beacons of good food, inspired by solid connections with artisan producers, and good communication with a regular local clientele who are happy to share their views.

Tom Durcan, craft butcher of over twenty five years experience, is a master of spiced beef. It has won him many honours. This fine Cork speciality is the underlining product at his butcher’s stall in the English market. Tom’s career began as a youngster, when he took a summer job in a butcher’s shop during school holidays. The experience proved invaluable. Working with an experienced butcher with his own slaughter house provided what Tom describes as a ‘fantastic education’ for the young novice in how to source animals, and the ground rules for good butchery.
