Ballygally Castle Garden Restaurant is open to guests and non residents. Located in Ballygally Castle on the County Antrim Coast. The Garden restaurant has a beamed ceiling and medieval style chandeliers. - very in keeping with the age of the original castle tower around which this Hastings Group hotel is built.

Ghosts abound at Ballygally - such is the history of the place. But you probably won't find them in the dining room. The only spirits here are the ones you might partake in as a pre-dinner drink! Tables are simply dressed with fresh flowers, sparkling glassware and cutlery, and expertly folded linen napkins. Of course the gardens are directly outside and on warm days the French doors open out to let in the sunshine.

Lunch and dinner are served at The Garden Restaurant. The menu is a veritable array of local produce treated simply. Hastings group commitment to using, and serving, local produce is always prominent. Dishes here have a casual style, with eclectic touches. Find some international favourites, concocted with the local meats and fish this hotel group is known for.  

Afterwards, a glance at the dessert list is must. Farmhouse Ice Creams, local patisserie and home made puds are just some of the choices. Wines at Hastings Group hotels are specially selected by competent wine buyers. The list at The Garden Restaurant has a few special bottles to match the mood of the food. You can drift through Old and New World at a glance. France is well represented for reds to partner the lovely local meats, and whites for the fish. There’s a few from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile and South Africa too.  A couple of stunning dessert wines from Spain and Australia complete the picture.
