Our Review of Ballycotton Seafood Shop Garryvoe

Ballycotton Seafood Shop Garryvoe is a family run business based in County Cork. The company has been established for over 20 years with its produce coming from fish freshly landed on the Irish South Coast.

Richard Walsh started the company and believes that owning your own fishing fleet is essential to guarantee a supply of quality fresh fish. The company is now safe in the hands of son Adrian, and so the family tradition continues.

At the fish processing unit just a short drive from the seaside town of Garryvoe, this small shop stocks the freshest fish and seafood from the lastest catch. You'll find great service from a long standing member of staff. On the fresh fish counter, find gleaming examples of Ireland's favourite fish, from haddock to hake, turbot, brill, mackerel in season and much more.

A chill cabinet holds Ballycotton's own label ready made fish dishes, made in the commercial kitchens at the shop in Midleton. Convenient seafood packs are in the freezer. A small shelving cabinet holds useful items to go with the fish - dressings, oils, pasta and other essentials.

This is a very handy shop to have in this location, not far from Ballycotton Pier where the fish are landed. It even has a seaview. Ballycotton Seafood Shop Garryvoegets good business from the local Cork commuity and the self-caterers who holiday at Garryvoe in the summer.

Ballycotton Seafood pride themselves on ensuring that their fish is fully traceable, easily done when they have their own fleet. The family-owned brand now exports throughout Europe and supplies Ireland with a wealth of fresh fish.

You can also get Ballycotton Seafood at their English Market Shop and the Seafood Shop in Midleton.
