At the busy English Market off Patrick Street in Cork city, the counter at Ballycotton Seafood is an alive and vibrant spot for seafood lovers. Fresh fish beautifully displayed, served by helpful staff under the watchful eye of Alan Wiggins. A joy to watch the interaction between customers and the Ballycotton team. Alan knows all his fish inside out! 

At Ballycotton Seafood English Market Stall, the team have done their research thoroughly. They know what the consumer is looking for in this fast moving world.  Aside from the fresh fish and shellfish selection, a variety of ready made fish dishes abound on the market stall. Seasons dictate dishes, varying from summer salads with fresh crab-meat, to comforting seafood pies, plus a selection of sauces to complement any fish dish.

Barry Fitzgerald, who is the marketing manager for Ballycotton Seafood, is quick to state that the mission of this family-run business is to supply fish and fish products that are both "fresh" and "local". Making them a perfect match with Good Food Ireland, where "fresh and local" are key to our message. From the English Market to the retail shop in Midleton and the hub of it all in Garryvoe.

Ballycotton Seafood continues the family fishing traditions to supply the home market , as well as growing the export business throughout Europe.
