Wexford Home Preserves Limited Edition Speciality Marmalades Out Now
Good Food Ireland Awarded Wexford Home Preserves have launched their Limited Edition Range of Speciality Marmalades
Artisan food producers, Wexford Home Preserves, this week launches the 2019 range of speciality limited edition marmalades.
The Marmalade Season Celebration range, marks the high season of the best loved of the marmalade oranges, the Seville.
This year, the range features Sicilian lemons, blood oranges and clementines from Il Biviere Organic Farm as well as seville and navelina oranges from Ava Maria Oranic farm in Seville.
Il Biviere Organic Farm was selected as the source of this year’s fruit, along with Ava Maria Organic Farm following extensive research by Tom and Laura Sinnott, owners of Wexford Home Preserve including visits to the farms.
Wexford Home Preserves has a strong commitment to sustainability as well as quality and deal wherever possible direct with the growers – in a lot of cases, family businesses like themselves.
Limited edition varieties, which will be on the shelves of select food retailers from 15th February include:
Award winning Ave Maria Farm Seville Marmalade
Award Winning Blood Orange
Award winning Orange and Strawberry Gin
Multi Award Winning Clementine
In addition, Wexford Home Preserves Award Winning Irish Whiskey Marmalade, Irish Poitín Marmalade, Award Winning Grapefruit Marmalade, No Peel Three Fruit and Award Winning Three Fruit Marmalade will be available.
Wexford Home Preserves also makes marmalade for Dunnes Stores Simply Better range including the Dunnes Stores Simply Better Handmade Award WinningThree Fruit Marmalade which won silver in the World Marmalade Awards last year and the Dunnes Stores Simply Better Handmade Award Winning Seville Marmalade which was a winner of the Irish Quality Food Awards. They have also launched a new Navelina Orange Marmalade for the Dunnes Stores Simply Better Collection.
All of Wexford Home Preserves’ marmalades are made by hand using the open pot boiling method in small batches with all pips being removed by hand and used to make natural pectin to help the marmalades to set.
