Thanksgiving at Maxwells Thursday 23rd November
An American living in and around Galway or visiting the city during Thanksgiving? Maxwells Bistro are hosting their annual Thanksgiving Dinner celebration on Thursday November 23rd and would love for you to join them.
The Galway city eatery has a strong connection with this famous holiday, as Co-Proprietor Maureen O'Meara was born in New York. Her mother Joanne who settled back in Cong, Co. Mayo cooked an amazing feast annually to celebrate Thanksgiving. To honour her memory, along with providing a celebration venue for US citizens and their friends in Galway, Maxwells are hosting a traditional Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings.
Starting at 1pm all the way through to last orders at 9pm, expect Roast Turkey with Cornbread, Sausage and Cranberry Stuffing. Also delve into some delicious Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows and a Green Bean Casserole with plenty of Buttery Mashed Potato and Homemade Gravy. No Thanksgiving dinner would be complete without the Homemade Pumpkin Pie with Cream, this of course will be on the menu and will be expertly prepared by Maxwell’s' Pastry Chef, Collette. A lovely Thanksgiving Food Experience if we say so ourselves!
All of this is available for €20 pp for the two courses. Maxwell's Thanksgiving Celebration was packed out last year so make sure to book your table in time!
