TARA’S TASTY TART CHANGES IT’S NAME!


Tara Walker ( Twitter: @TaraWalkerChef)  recently introduced invited guests to an impromptu ‘pop up’ evening in Dublin, to mark the  rebranding launch of her Termonfeckin based cookery school in the countryside of Co. Louth.  The East Coast Cookery School,  formerly The Tasty Tart,  showased  a  true taste of Tara’s cuisine to friends and foodies, with  a selection of signature dishes from the newly expanded  home based cookery schoo

The East Coast Cookery School is a purpose built cookery school and kitchen in Tara’s own very welcoming home, ofering a wide range of classes for all ages and aptitudes.  In keeping with Good Food Ireland ethos and her own passion for Irish produce,  Tara uses  the finest meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables from this prolific region, a naturally rich source of all these ingredients. At The East Coast Cookery School,  the focus is not just on food education,  but also on fun!. This girl is a bundle of energy, an energetic and passionate cook,  who brings huge enthusiasm to her demonstrations and cookery classes.  

Upcoming classes at The East Coast Cookery School include ‘Casual Suppers for Friends’ (€45pp/3 hour class) tackling simple yet impressive starters, mains and desserts. ‘The Bad Ass BBQ’ (€45pp/3 hour class)  – gives your summer entertaining some attitude!  Perfect meat and fish dishes with beer and wine, hopefully hosted al fresco. Making the most of the fabulously fresh seafood available locally, ‘Fish landed in Clogher Head’ (€45pp/3 hour class) features lots of different preparation and cookery methods for fish and shellfish.
