SILVER CELEBRATIONS AT RESTAURANT RINUCCINI

A quarter of a century is a long time to be in business for a restaurant. Any dining room which has survived the hard days of the 90’s, the hey days of the Celtic Tiger, and the big crash of 2008 onwards deserves a medal! In this case- a silver medal since, 25 years is a silver anniversary. Restaurant Rinuccini in the heart of Kilkenny town,  has survived all the bust, boom and bust years because the team has offered consistently good authentic Italian food, using local Irish fresh produce, Italian artisan produce, and keeping a keen eye on pricing structures to offer good value for money. Longevity means experience  – and it shines  through here. This is a restaurant where service is efficient but discreet, food is cooked fresh to order and superbly presented, and the dining room offers an intimate and traditionally gentile feel of a high end restaurant in Italy. Rinuccini is a very pretty restaurant and has a little covered outdoor area out front with two cosy tables for when the sun shines.  During the years since it opened, the the team here has grown from 8 to 25 people and the restaurant has been expanded to seat 100.

Head Chef/Owner Antonio Cavaliere of this award-winning, fine dining room, is joined by his wife Marion, who works front of house, son Riccardo who manages the business, and Riccardo’s wife Orla.  Speaking on the restaurant’s anniversary, Riccardo Cavaliere said “As a family, we are very proud to be celebrating this milestone. Over the past 25 years the whole family have been involved in the restaurant’s continued success. We have built up fantastic suppliers and a great team, with many of our staff here since the beginning. We are looking forward to an exciting anniversary year with a host of special menus and dining events for our customers.”
