Good Food Ireland Represent Ireland at Taste of the World at the Breeders Cup 2019 

On October 31st 2019, Good Food Ireland represented Ireland at the renowned Taste of the World event at The Breeders Cup held in Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles, promoting the very best Irish food. 

Good Food Ireland Managing Director, Margaret Jeffares and Operations Director Susan Kerr, were joined by Chef Ed Cooney, Executive Head Chef at The Merrion Hotel  in Dublin and Chef Maurice Keller, Good Ireland International Ambassador, who in association with Chefs from 14 countries across the globe, created a wonderful menu for the 1500 VIP guests. 

This has been the 9th year in sucession that Good Food Ireland have been invited to represent Ireland. They were joined by top international chefs representing the cuisines of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa, UAE, United Kingdom, United States and Venezuela.

Speaking on the significance of the event, Good Food Ireland Founder & Managing Director  Margaret Jeffares remarked, "Ireland has a very strong foothold in the global racing and thoroughbred industries with owners, breeders and trainers frequently visiting the country. It was amazing the number of people we spoke with who had either just come back from Ireland or were going to Ireland in the next three weeks," .

Good Food Ireland, were delighted to represent Good Food Ireland's collection of wonderful food, people and businesses.
