In the Footsteps of Bloom at Brooks Hotel
Dublin comes alive this weekend in celebration of Bloomsday, marking one of the world's most famous books set upon the streets of Dublin's Fair City. Brooks Hotel are giving guests the chance to get in on the fun!
This weekend Dublin will come alive once again in the spirit of Ulysses as the annual world-renowned Bloomsday celebration takes place. Brooks Hotel, a passioante supporter of culture and the arts, will play host to 'In the Footsteps of Bloom' this June 16th in honour of the festival.
As part of the Bloomsday celebtations the team at Brooks Hotel have organised a scavanger hunt to some of the best known locations that Bloom visited on June 16th 1904. 'Straw hat in the sunlight. Tan shoes. Turned up trousers. It is. It is. His heart quopped softly. To the right. Mueseum.' -'Ulysses' Upon completion of the scavenger hunt guests can return to Brooks Hotel to receive a complimentary gorgonzola sandwich and a glass of Burgundy wine.
It's a fun way for guests of the hotel to get to know more about James Joyce and explore the trail of Leopold Bloom!
Brooks has a longstanding relationship in supporting literature in Dublin and is host hotel for the International Literature Festival for six consecutive years.
