Celebration of Carlingford Christmas at Ghan House, Co. Louth, Irish Food, Good Food Ireland

Ghan House in Co. Louth are once again hosting their popular Celebration of Carlingford Christmas Fair taking place on Sunday December 10th. 

As the evenings get longer and there is a definite chill in the air, are thoughts start to wonder towards Christmas. It's never too early to get prepared for this big time of the year we say. With a number of Christmas markets and festivals beginning to start up next month there's is plenty of choice for all the family to enjoy. On such event that you should consider is the Celebration of Carlingford Christmas Fair being hosted by Ghan House. An event that celebrates all that the local area has to offer. From live music, food and drink tastings and Christmas gifts aplenty, you will be given the genuine festive experience! 

There are cupcake and gingerbread decorating classes for children. The class costs €10 per child and they will have a cupcake and a gingerbread man to take home with them. Suitable for children of all ages! Booking is strongly recommended.

Local businesses, crafts people and Artisan food and drink producers will be on hand throughout the day to purchase gifts and vouchers as well as Ghan House itself offering homemade jams, chutneys, breads & gift vouchers. There is also wine-tasting and a chance to sample some locally brewed ales.

** PLEASE NOTE ** Santa's Grotto will not be available this year however Santa will be visiting every cupcake class with a small gift for each child.
