07/09/2017 - Janet's Country Fayre Celebrates 10 Years of Production at Kilcoole Premises
Birthdays are very special occassions in which we celebrate another joyous year in the life of our nearest and dearest. Janet Drew of Janet's Country Fayre and her dedicated team have recently celebrated a very special birthday, 10 Years of Production at their Kilcoole premises in Co. Wicklow.
Janet's Country Fayre all began in Janet's home kitchen in 1995, where she was busy pickling and preserving her fruit and vegetables in delicious food products. From these humble beginnings, Janet's Country Fayre has grown to become one of Ireland's leading food companies producing award winning chutneys, relishes and sauces to businesses all over the country.
It's impossible to talk about this food company without mentioning the hard work and dedication of Janet herself. Her passion and commitment to producing top quality food has led to long established connections with both stockists, suppliers and fellow food producers alike, all key to creating a successful food business.
As the year's have gone by and consumer attitudes have changed, Janet's Country Fayre has grown and adapted along with them. In recent years Janet's Just Delicious, a range of natural and no added sugar pizza and pasta sauces has been launched. Produced using top quality tomatoes, vegetables and aromatic herbs. Carrot puree is ingeniously used as a natural sweetener in the sauces too. The perfect ingredients for a healthy family dinner!
To celebrate 10 years of production in their fabulous production unit in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow, Janet and her team at Janet’s Country Fayre hosted a lunch on the exact date that the first batch of Janet’s famous Sweet Pepper Relish was cooked on 4th September, 2007. Customers, suppliers, foodie colleagues and friends enjoyed a delicious summer lunch of fillet of Irish Hereford beef, baked ham on the bone, seasonal salads, and delicious homemade ice cream and of course an excellent cheeseboard which included top Irish Farmhouse cheeses and of course Janet’s chutneys!
We congratulate Janet and the team on their growing success and wish them all the best for the coming 10 years!
