04/05/2017 - Long-Table Lunch and Garden Tour at Ballyvolane House

ballyvolane house entrance

On the 13th of May, Good Food Ireland member, Ballyvolane House are hosting a long-table lunch and tour of the gardens for a very good cause indeed.

Toby (aged 16), the son of Ballyvolane House owners Justin and Jenny Green, and his classmates are flying to Armenia to give a helping hand to charity organisation, Habitat for Humanity. The group of teenagers will be spending two weeks of their summer holidays building houses in some of the most disadvantaged areas of the country. Before this happens, Toby needs to raise a total of €2,500.

To help achieve the fundraising target, Ballyvolane House have organised a delightful afternoon event which includes a long-table lunch and a tour of the gorgeous surrounding gardens with guide and Toby's grandpa, Jeremy Green. Upon arrival, relax in the beautiful surroundings with a Bertha's Revenge Gin Summer Tipple and pull up a seat at the long-table lunch in the gardens (or the barn - depending on the weather). If you can't make the event then you can donate online to help fund this trip.

See below for further details of the afternoon event:
