Strawberry Festival of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford 24th-28th June

Wexford is home to delicious home grown strawberries, and they are celebrated in style in the county over the next four days! The Enniscorthy Strawberry Festival includes ots of fun for all the family, including an All Ireland Farmers Market, Taste of Wexford Strawberries Competition, Teddy Bears Picnic, Fairy Tales in the Castle and cookery demos from tv chef Neven Macguire. And of course heaps of delicious strawberries to enjoy! Most events at the festival are free, so it’s good chance to go along and maybe meet some strawberries growers in the process.  Good Food Ireland has a number of strawberry producers in Wexford, including Greens Berry Farm, Greenhill Farm and Kearn’s Fruit Farm. All of them contributing to the wonderful crop this county produces every single year.
