Twinkle Twinkle Michelin Star...
TWINKLE TWINKLE MICHELIN STAR
This time of year is cliff hanging time for our Irish Michelin starred chefs, as they wait with baited breath to see if they managed to retain this major food accreditation for another year. As one of our top Good Food Ireland chefs once said, ‘it’s not the getting of the star, but the keeping of it, that creates all the pressure.’ How right he was, because staying at the top of this particular tree is not a walk in the park for any chef and his team.
But we’re happy to say that all our Good Food Ireland Michelin starred members have kept their stars for another year. Results were announced on 3rd October at a ceremony in London.
So guys, you can all let your breath out now! Stand back and take a bow! Well done from all of us here at Good Food Ireland to The House Restaurant at the Cliff House Hotel, Chapter One, L’Ecrivain, Aniar, Loam and The Lady Helen Restaurant at Mount Juliet, who make up six of the nine Irish restaurants who have one coveted Michelin Star under their belts.
Long may they continue to work at the highest of levels, to offer the finest of dining which showcases the best Irish produce. We think you are all stars!
