Good Food Ireland Cheesemakers Scoop Gongs at Cais Irish Cheese Awards
Cais, The Association of Irish Cheesemakers was founded in 1983, facilitated by The National Dairy Council. Since then, membership has grown in strength from a few enterprising founding member cheesemakers like Good Food Ireland members Durrus and Milleens to over thirty members throughout Ireland.
Last week, Cais ran its biennial Irish Cheese Awards, with judging tastings and awards ceremony at The Grainstore in Ballymaloe House. We offer our heartiest congratulations to Good Food Ireland member winners in each of the classes listed below.
