She was hooked from that moment, pardon our pun. And so will you be too. Head Chef Paul has a special talent for cooking the freshest fish and seafood he gets from the Wexford coast.

Its got a lively vibe and the fairy light bedecked courtyard makes a great outdoor eating space if the weather is fine. Pour the wine and browse the menu, packed with local specialities. You might even get a chance to have a conversation with your other half while they dig into whatever they’ve ordered. Be tempted in the starters with crumbed deep fried Irish camembert served with jam made with our own Mr Jeffares Blackcurrants, or perhaps the classic throwback first course of crispy whitebait from the local fishmonger. Mains are eclectic in style – from local Hake with a chorizo risotto to best Irish Hereford Steak served with trad garlic or peppercorn sauce and home cut chips. Lots of fresh fish too and a veggie choice.  If you want to be really casual and convivial on your date, tear and share a couple of pizzas from the woodfired oven over a bottle of wine.
