Cakes Are Us - With Good Food Ireland!
Who doesn’t love cake? A fresh cake can be a wonderful treat when you feel like you deserve it. Or it can be a mark of a bigger celebration like a birthday, anniversary, christening or the ultimate occasion of a wedding. Cakes are wonderful things. But what happens if you don’t have a baker’s touch or you just don’t have time to bake one yourself?
Help is at hand. The Good Food Ireland network counts some pretty nifty bakers among its ranks. In a prevuious blog we looked at bakers who specialise in celebration cakes for all occasions. These include Diva Boutique Bakery & Cafe in Ballinspittle, Co. Cork, Button & Spoon in Wexford and Ditty’s Home Bakeries in Northern Ireland. All make specialist cakes to order which will grace any celebration gathering. You can check out the details in our Let Them Eat Cake blog here.
We can add to this list a few more bakers around the country who make gorgeous cakes and buns and use seasonal ingredients for decoration.
