KAI CAFÉ RESTAURANT

Sea Road, Galway, Ireland

Jess Murphy has a food conscience. That conscience goes with her into her kitchen every single day. Along with passion, enthusiasm and boundless culinary expertise. This female chef owner of Galway city’s Kai Café Restaurant creates a heady recipe for what is quite probably the best casual dining in this country. A big statement we make here – and we make it with every confidence you’ll agree with us. In a tiny old town house where the original stone is exposed and a glass roof floods the place with natural light, among the reclaimed scaffolding boards she has used for the funkiest tables and seating imaginable – prepare to be amazed.
