Bakery Deli Food Producer box end

Jacks

Lower Bridge Street, Killorglin, Co Kerry.

Jack Healy is a third generation baker from a family of Corkonian bread and pastry makers who learned their trade the traditional way. This Master Baker uses a recipe of long standing culinary expertise mixed with the virtue of patience, and seasoned with the God given gift of time, to create an array of breads, cakes and pastries to die for. When you see the vast range of bakery created here, it’s hard to believe absolutely all of it is created just behind the cake counter. Jack’s kitchen is tiny but productive. Jack’s also offers a takeaway sandwich service, from the small counter at the rear of the shop. Choose the bread you want and pick your own fillings from salamis, home cooked hams, cheeses, fresh salads and the like. Fast food at its finest!

Janet's Country Fayre

And it doesn’t stop there. She also makes sauces, vinaigrettes and preserves to die for.
