Gleesons Townhouse - Warm Chocolate Brownies

Warm Chocolate Brownie Dessert

Serves 8-10


 
 

Ingredients

60g Butter
60g Chocolate (melted)
2 eggs
200g Brown Sugar
140g Self Raising Flour
12g Cocoa
12g Nuts, Hazelnuts, Walnuts

Quarter kg Chocolate Buttons
250ml Cream
 
 

Method:

Sieve the cocoa and flour together and then add the nuts.
 

Whip the butter and sugar until creamy, then add the eggs one by one so as not to split the mix. 

Fold in the flour and pour into a prepared baking sheet and cook for 50 mins at 160º

Melt the chocolate in a pyrex bowl over a double boiler with the cream. Stir continuously until smooth.
 
 
To Serve

Serve warm with the chocolate sauce poured over and with some homemade vanilla ice cream on the side.
