Margaret Jeffares, Managing Director, Good Food Ireland will speak at the upcoming Hospitality Expo Conference in the RDS on February 4th 2008.
She will present Good Food Ireland and the topic of her discussion will be:
Ireland as a food tourism destination? – YES!
We have the potential and now the opportunity through Good Food Ireland to become one. Over 9 million visitors come to the island of Ireland each year. Good Food Ireland targets these visitors and markets across all product sectors, because everyone has to eat. We must have a confidence and a trust in serving our Irish produce and promoting our local and artisan producers. So let’s give our visitor good Irish, local and artisan food.
