25 Kenyon Street, Nenagh, Co Tipperary
Coffee Shop, Deli and Gallery

What can be said that hasn’t already
been said about Peter and Mary Ward’s
wonderful delicatessen and café in
Nenagh? Only that it is a ‘must’ for any
travellers from home or abroad - perhaps if
you are visiting Lough Derg or travelling
between Limerick and Dublin you could
pop in for some real delights! It is at this
welcoming wine-coloured café that you
will be treated to wholesome home-cooked
meals where only the finest regional farm
produce sourced locally is used. Perhaps
try a ‘local free-range pork and apple
casserole with Devil’s Bit cider’ or ‘Irish
stew of slow cooked gigot with champ’.
You will not be disappointed even if you
only have time for a coffee and ‘homemade
bread and butter pudding’ but do take the
time to bring some goodies home for later
- choose between their home made jams
and chutneys, or a perhaps a selection of
Tipperary cheese. Why not sample one
of their specially chosen wines that they
import exclusively for their loyal clientele.
There is always a special offer on and
usually wines purchased from the shop to
enjoy with your meal incur only €5 corkage.
Established in 1982, Country Choice has
gained a well-deserved respect from locals
and holiday makers alike for it’s fresh home
made food, organic fruit and vegetables,
wholemeal breads, stunning cheeses and
