Margaret Jeffares Founder and Managing Director Good Food Ireland Margaret has extensive experience in the tourism and hospitality business having worked in the industry for almost 20 years. In 2000 she established herself as a full time tourism marketing and development consultant and created links with a number of consultancy firms. Over the years Margaret has held a number of directorships and sits on the Tourism Strategy Implementation Group as appointed by the Minister of Arts, Sports and Tourism. She lives with her husband on their Blackcurrant and Horse Breeding Farm in Co Wexford. Understanding the needs of agriculture and food production together with her knowledge of the tourism industry led Margaret to developing a strong food tourism proposition for the island of Ireland. In November 2006 Good Food Ireland was founded. |

Susan Kerr Director of Operations
Susan has twenty years management experience in hotel sales and marketing. She has also held management positions in front office and operations and has a broad knowledge of all aspects of the hotel industry. For eight years she worked for Jeffares Marketing as a tourism marketing and development consultant before taking up her full-time roll with Good Food Ireland in November 2006. |

Melina Magourty Membership Executive Melina has worked in the tourism industry for the last 12 years. After graduating in tourism marketing she gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry. She held management positions in front office and sales & marketing management. More recently she worked in print media. In 2003 Melina joined the team of Jeffares Marketing before moving to Good Food Ireland in November 2006. |

Vicky Jago Marketing Executive A business and law graduate, Vicky gained valuable business and management experience in the retail sector for numerous years. After taking time off to travel. She relocated from Dublin to Wexford and took up her role as publicity and events co-ordinator at Good food Ireland in April 2011. |

Hugo Arnold Editor & Food Consultant
Hugo is an independent food journalist and consultant. He works extensively with hotels, restaurants, retailers and manufacturers advising on food trends and developing new products and ideas. Hugo is the author if numerous cookery books, was editorial consultant to a number of food publications, including Food & Wine Magazine, has written food columns for the London Evening Standard, Financial Times and now the Irish Times. Hugo won a Glenfiddich Award for his innovative food writing in 2001. He also sits as a member of the Bord Bia Taste Council. Hugo is retained as a full time consultant to Good Food Ireland overseeing its quality assurance programmes. He also edits the online magazine and writes for Good Food Ireland.
